So I was attending a meeting this morning that got totally derailed into some technical minutiae that I was neither involved nor interested in. But just in case things did change direction and I suddenly had to pay attention, I didn’t want to get too deeply distracted multitasking by, say, watching Westworld reruns.
Instead I opened up a spreadsheet I’d made months ago, updated it, formatted it all pretty, and created a handy cocktail reference chart for myself.
- Lists our eight most common “house” cocktails
- Includes a range of values for various straight drinks
- Ingredient costs, calories, alcohol and sugar content
- Recipes and serving guidelines
This is all worked out with what we usually stock and at Washington State prices from the local big-box store (because I could look them up online) so your mileage may vary. Nonetheless I’m sharing this in case anyone is interested in some random cocktail data, my house recipes, or who wants inspiration to make their own such chart.
Enjoy the intersection of whisky and geek! Cheers!
